Welcome to WDCS Australasia

common dolphinEstablished in 1987, the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, WDCS, is the world's most active charity dedicated to the conservation and welfare of all whales, dolphins and porpoises (also known as cetaceans).

WDCS Australasia implements many of WDCS’s international policy programs in our region. We work with governments, policy makers, researchers and other conservation organizations to create a safer environment for the whales and dolphins that inhabit the waters around our shores. All of this can only be done with your generous support. On this site you can find out about our work and how you can support our efforts to protect these amazing animals.
