Volunteer

A number of volunteer positions are usually available at any one time and you are invited to contact us to understand if your skills, experience and interests match our current vacancies.

Marine Biologists or graduates of related disciplines

Please phone us during South Australian business hours on 1300 360 442 (within Australia) for positions that you may be regarded for.

Non Scientists

Volunteers are encouraged to learn about cetaceans, however positions for non-scientists with WDCS Australia rarely offer contact with dolphins or whales.  Nevertheless we have many interesting positions that are typically fulfilled by volunteers at WDCS.

Administration – Filing, answering phones, preparing adoption packs

Wildlife Photographer

It is important when enquiring about volunteer work that you give us an understanding of your skills, experience and preferred tasks.  Without this information it is difficult for us to ascertain your suitability for the role.
